Well despite an overnight low of -0.6c and some snow flurries on my drive to Basingstoke this morning, last nights trapping produced:-

COMMON QUAKER
MARCH MOTH

Things can only get better! :D

First attempt at running the MV last night, and 'rewarded' with my first noctuid of the year, a Chestnut. That was all though. Dave 'WeatherMan' Owen - what's the craich? When's this cold spell gonna end?

Don't mind slow but sure Dave, but do hope we don't go backwards again :o

We put the MV out for 6 hours on Thursday, all we got were three tiny flies :x
We have no records for our CR for March so far, not even a chestnut - it must get better soon. Jean & Graham

It was quite mild here last night. Min 3c cloudy and dry but that cold wind again.
No moths, 1 slug, 1 very large bee and a dozen midge type flies. :(
I'm thinking of trying the trap at the other end of the garden, where there are several trees and bushes. It can't be any worse.

Down to -5 deg. last night. Strangely no frost by the morning.
Only put the trap out because it was GMS night.
