Hampshire and Isle of Wight Moth Recorders Conference

The first Butterfly Conservation Branch Moth Recorders Conference for 5 years, so please put the date in your diary now - we hope to make this an annual event from now on.
The venue is Littleton Village Hall near Winchester. Doors will open at 12.30 and the event will close at 5.30pm. Tea will be provided. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet and chat with others and a good range of speakers is being finalised (including myself and Tim, without wanting to put anyone off! ).

In between these two, I'm supposed to be doing a moth-related talk for the Basingstoke Field Society on the 10th, details tba, so a busy week.

I will be repeating the talk I gave this Saturday at the HBIC Recorders Conference, on Adventive Moths In Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Amongst others, we'll be reviewing the 2009 season, a session on moth photography, Dave Green presenting his pics from Hungary and Italy, and a piece on moth conservation on BC reserves in the area.
