These two butterfly species have been about the garden for some weeks now - amazing as we've been so gloomy & wet most of the time. The favoured plants are sedum, verbena bonariensis & the wonderful ivy flowers which feed so many insects at this time of year & birds later on. Jean & Graham

Thanks Nigel & Carol. We hoped they would cheer you up. The opportunities for photographing butterflies in the garden have been few & far between but these were certainly a joy. Graham got the Red Ad. with his new Olympus Pen compact system with interchangeable lenses. It certainly gives lovely reproduction with lightweight ease. Jean & Graham
