J&G - I hope you dont mind me posting my pic of one.

I have only managed to get one with my macro gear and one with my new smaller G12 camera. I am really hoping to get a load more from around the garden.

Here is the one and only shot of one I got last weekend in my garden - taken with my 40D plus 100mm macro (plus flash)

and earlier this year I bought a small Canon G12 for ease of taking to work lunchtimes but I am still getting to grips with it and not had many chances to use it.

Have only managed one half decent bee-fly pic with it so far lol

Hi J&G - hey, thats so very kind of you, thank you so much.

Wish I could get more moth pics to post on here, but will post them when I can. I always feel a bit guilty posting pics of other wildlife stuff and not so many moth pics, but I do try and get butterfly pics with lesser success than other insects lol.

Hi Linda, fantastic shots as usual. The Blackcap and Chiffchaff are really good as well.

I wouldn't feel guilty at all about posting 'non moth' images. Keep them coming . . .

Cheers,
N

Hi Nigel and many thanks :D

Plants are doing well by the way - they are a bit surrounded with greenery at the moment with all the tulip, daff and leaves of new plant growth nearby but they are looking strong :D
