Hi all, I trapped on Fri/Sat evening despite very heavy rain, i got 2 Cypress Carpets which were a first for me [In Britain], the trap was full to bursting point with the usual July Moths, 35 Heart and Club, 22 Heart and Dart, 5 Privet HM, I each of Elephant, Eyed and Poplar Hawks being the pic.
I had this in the trap which was not immediately obvious, Dusky Brocade perhaps?
I took a short video of a Cosmopterix zieglerella, it shows how they behave very well.

What a great video Steve - what erratic behaviour. Do they move like that the whole time or do they take a breather? Wonder what they are actually doing, scenting perhaps? Jean & Graham

Graham said that they are getting 'high' on something the leaf is giving off - like glue sniffing   Jean
