What a neat rider! Well done Bradley Wiggins, he certainly deserves his amazing following. We don't usually follow bike riders (rowers are more my thing, Jean. Sailing is more my thing, Graham); but we both watched Bradley Wiggins & will not forget his name.

Its certainly a great time for British cycling, amazing what 20 million quid can do..

£20 million is one thing, being able to use it effectively and so brilliantly is another! Shame that Australia and Germany (amongst others) in the road race were so concerned about not 'giving' Cavendish the gold - which was certainly not a done deal anyway - that they decided they'd rather not have any medals at all if it meant giving any assistance to the chase...
