I've just looked at the long range forcast, and it looks like we're to get MORE cold weather next week with a chance of yet more snow. :(
Roll on spring I say.

I'm afraid to say thats correct. I've had a look at all the latest computer models today and all indicate a spell, possibly lengthy of easterly or north easterly winds. Trouble is that there is still a lot of cold air to our east and north so it will mean plenty of frost if skies clear and a persistant threat of snow in the east and south east especially as the week progresses :o

Hi Ben & Linda
It was almost springlike on Friday and yesterday was OK once the sun appeared :) It certainly shows how much days have lengthened when you get a clear late afternoon!
No change today though. Quiet with a slow drop in temps day on day covers it. Should be a noticeable easterly wind tomorrow & Tuesday

With anti-cyclonic gloom dominating today (something we're used to in the South-West), the east wind is already having an effect :(

Do people realise Dave, that here we suffer more cloudy days than bright ones? Too much water surrounding us! therefore wet-hot in summer, wet-cold in winter - dry air is better in these extremes. Jean
