Notes: Mines on oak in June, July and from September into November. The adult moths can be found at rest by day on tree-trunks. It is unsafe to distinguish this species from Link to leafmines.co.uk
UK distribution: Widespread and probably occurs commonly throughout the British Isles wherever there are oaks.
