Notes: Common, throughout the British Isles. Wingspan 10-12mm. Case 5mm. Nocturnal; June to July. Frequents marshes, river-banks and damp areas. Larva August to November. Larva feeds on seeds of Jointed Rush, living and feeding in a movable case.
