Notes: Local, England, Wales, southern Scotland and Ireland, predominantly coastal. Wingspan 22-30mm. Nocturnal; mid-July to mid-September. Frequents salt-marshes. Larva feeds on stems and leaves of Common Salt-marsh Gras s and Sheep's Fescue, living and feeding in a silken gallery.
