Notes: Local, England; rare in Scotland, predominantly coastal. Wingspan 22-27mm. Nocturnal; mid-July to mid-September. Frequents dry sandy areas, sand-dunes and sand-hills. Larva feeds on roots of False Brome and Upright Brome, living an d feeding in a silken tube or tent.
