Notes: Nationally rare, southern England and Breckland. Wingspan 23-26mm. Flies at dusk; May to June. Frequents dry sandy areas, calcerous grassland, sand-dunes, sand-hills and sea cliffs. Larva feeds on stems of Sheep's Fescue and various grasses, living and feeding in a silken tube or tent.
