Notes: Local, southern England, Perthshire, Aberdeenshire, western Scotland and Ireland. Wingspan male 22-26mm, female 29-35mm. June to July and late August. Frequents marshes, river-banks and damp areas. Larva feeds within stems of Commo n Reed, Reed Sweet-grass and Carex (sedges).
