Notes: Nationally rare, south-eastern England and mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 27-31mm. Flies at dusk; mid-July to mid-September, migrants often appearing later than this. Frequents chalk downland, woodland on chalky soils and chalky ground. Larva feeds within seedheads of Cruciferae.
