Notes: Local, England, Wales and southern Scotland, predominantly coastal. Wingspan 14-17mm. Flies during day; May to June and July to August. Frequents chalky ground, sand-dunes and sand-hills. Larva feeds on Wild Thyme, living and feedi ng in a spinning.
