Notes: Nationally very rare, England and Wales, more numerous in the south. Wingspan 25-29mm. Flies at dusk, also during the day if disturbed; mid-May to June. Frequents open woodland. Larva feeds on Wood Sage, Marjoram, Goldenrod, Germande r, Black Horehound, Wild Thyme, Corn Mint and Stinging Nettle.
