Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Recorded infrequently as a result of accidental importation in shipments of French beans, Africa. Wingspan 28-34mm. Nocturnal. Frequents barns, warehouses, grain-stores, chalk pits, fruit and vegetable wholesalers and supermarkets. Larva - no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on Leguminosae, causing sufficient damage to be a serious pest in some areas.
