Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Rare immigrant, southern Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain, in some years arriving in sufficient numbers to breed. Wingspan 18-22mm. Nocturnal; May to September. Larva - no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on withered leaves of Greater Plantain, Chicory, Beaked Hawksbeard, Marsh Hawksbeard and other related species.
