Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Very rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 60-92mm. Nocturnal; June to August. Frequents coniferous woodland and plantations. Larva - no evidence of breeding i n the UK. Larva feeds on Norway Spruce.
