Notes: Local, southern England. Wingspan 19-21mm. Nocturnal, will fly during the day if disturbed; late June to late August and mid-September to late October, final (partial) generation in the south only. Frequents gardens, roadside verge s, hedgerows, scrub, downland and embankments. Larva August to early June. Larva feeds on Ivy, Traveller's Joy and various herbaceous plants.
