Notes: Common, southern England, spreading into northern England. Wingspan 22-25mm. Nocturnal; mid-May to mid-July and late July to mid-September, final (partial) generation in the south only. Frequents woodland, scrub, hedgerows, rough gras sland and gardens. Larva August to May. Larva feeds on Knotgrass, Dandelion and Chickweed.
