Notes: Local, throughout the British Isles. Wingspan 28-33mm. Flies at dusk; mid-June to mid-August. Frequents open woodland, scrubby heathland, hedgerows, rough grassland and gardens. Larva August to May. Larva feeds on various herbaceou s plants.
