Notes: Endangered, the Lake District and northern Wales. Wingspan 24-28mm. Nocturnal, may fly during the day; early July to mid-August. Frequents damp woodland, marshes, river-banks and damp areas. Larva late July to early Septe mber, over-wintering as a pupa. Larva feeds on Touch-me-not Balsalm.
