Notes: Nationally rare, Scotland. Wingspan 41-46mm. Flies at dusk; July to August. Frequents rocky areas, mountains and moorland; 200-800m. Larva September to June. Larva feeds on Yellow Saxifrage, Heather, Bell Heather, Cross-leaved Heath and Petty Whin.
