Status: Extinct
Notes: Very rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 38-42mm. Nocturnal; June. Frequents woodland. Larva June to August, over-wintering as a pupa, no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feed s on Silver Birch and Downy Birch.
