Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Very rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 30-38mm. Nocturnal; April and June to July, just one generation in the north. Frequents woodland and areas with scattered trees. Larva May and August to mid-September, over-wintering as a pupa, no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on Aspen and Poplar.
