Notes: Endangered, south-eastern England, predominantly coastal. Wingspan 36-38mm. Nocturnal; April to May, late July to August and October, final (partial) generation in the south only. Frequents shingle beaches; 0-50m. Larva June to J uly and August to September, over-wintering as a pupa. Larva feeds on Grey Willow, Sallow, Aspen and Poplar.
