Notes: Rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan male 31-35mm, female 36-41mm. Nocturnal; July to September. Frequents broad-leaved woodland and oak woodland. Larva May to June, having over- wintered as an egg, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
