Status: Extinct
Notes: Extinct in Britain, formerly East Anglia. Wingspan 46-50mm. Nocturnal; July to August. Frequented fens. Larva August to June, no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on Common Reed, Great Fen Sedge and Branched Bur-reed.
