Status: Migrant
Notes: Rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant in south-eastern Britain, in some years arriving in sufficient numbers to breed. Wingspan 52-60mm. Nocturnal; late June to July. Frequents hedgerows. Larva July to late May, very li mited evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on Common Elm and Wych Elm.
