Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Very rare immigrant, mainland Europe, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 37-42mm. Flies during day; June to July. Frequents flower meadows, rough ground, gravel pits, woodland rides and woodland clearings. Larva August to May, no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on White Dead Nettle, Red Dead Nettle, Dandelion and various herbaceous plants.
