Notes: Local, south-western England, north-western England and Scotland. Wingspan 30-36mm. Nocturnal; August to September. Frequents moorland, marshes, river-banks and damp areas. Larva May to July, having over-wintered as an egg. Larva f eeds on Purple Moor-grass and Cotton Grass.
