Status: Rare migrant
Notes: Rare immigrant from the Canary Islands and North Africa, appearing as a migrant on the south coast of Britain. Wingspan 38-46mm. Nocturnal; September, also at other times of the year. Larva - no evidence of breeding in the UK. Larva feeds on various plants.
