Nationally scarce (Nb) in gardens and hedgerows throughout much of the British Isles. In Hampshire barely annual in scattered locations, mainly in the south-east of the county. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-12 mm. Larva feeds within fruits of Raspberry, causing sufficient damage to be a serious pest in some areas.
