In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight only regularly recorded in and around Botley Wood and Southwick in the south-east of the county, and very rare elsewhere. Wingspan 5-6 mm. Adults easily overlooked, and not particularly common at light, and more frequently recorded in the larval stage, when mines are relatively easy to find where they are present. Larva mines leaves of Bird's-foot Trefoil and Greater Bird's-foot Trefoil, over-wintering as a pupa.
