Subfamily:Bucculatricinae
Genus:Bucculatrix
Species:chrysanthemella
Authority:Rebel, 1896

In April 2012, Rachel Terry reported the identification of a single specimen found in the Bishops Stortford light trap of Jim Fish and Julian Reeves (Terry, R., 2012. Bucculatrix chrysanthemella Rebel, 1896 (Lep.: Bucculatricidae) new to Britain. Entomologist's Record & Journal of Variation 124: 59 - 63). The larvae are leaf miners in Marguerite Daisies (Argyranthemum frutescens), a common plant in garden centres with distinctive greyish-green leaves. An alternative host may be Canary Tansy (Gonospermum fruticosum).
