Extinct in the British Isles, formerly in woodland and hedgerows in parts of Herefordshire and Dorset, but not since 1886. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 20-21 mm. Larva feeds on Apple and Hawthorn.
