Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species). Recorded only once in Britain, at rest on flowers of thrift at an altitude of 750 m on Beinn Eighe, Wester Ross, Scotland on 11 July 1954 (MBGBI Vol 3); perhaps overlooked elsewhere. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 13-16 mm. Larva feeds on Common Scurvygrass, Common Whitlowgrass and Alpine Rock-cress, beneath a silken web.
