Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in open areas and waste ground in parts of East Anglia, South Midlands and Kincardineshire. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-10 mm. Larva feeds within seed capsules of Wild Parsnip, over-wintering as a pupa.
