Notes:
Nationally scarce (Nb) in open woodland in parts of the British Isles, mostly in the south (MBGBI Vol 3). Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight in recent years. Wingspan 8-9 mm. A fairly distinctive, well-marked, black and white elachistid. Larva mines leaves of Great Wood-rush.
