Notes:
Nationally scarce (Na) in saltmarshes and brackish marshes, along much of the coast of England, Wales and southern Ireland. Recorded in the past from the Isle of Wight at Yarmouth, but nowadays known in the region only from the salterns on the coast of south-east Hampshire. Wingspan 10-12 mm. The white streak from the base in the costal half of the forewing usually separates this species from its close relatives. Larva mines leaves of Sea Club-rush and Saltmarsh Rush.
