Notes:
Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in mature hedgerows and scrubland in parts of Worcestershire, Hertfordshire and Essex; possibly overlooked elsewhere. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 10-12 mm. Larva feeds within stems and flowers of Blackthorn.
