A rare and declining (pRBD3) species of open grassland bordering hedgerows, weedy banks, parkland and gardens, with only three records since 2000 (Gelechiid Recording Scheme). In Hampshire recorded only once to date, at Farnborough in August 1996. Wingspan 9-11.5 mm.
