Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in mountains in Aberdeenshire. First recorded in Britain in 2001, presumably having been overlooked previously. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Superficially resembles several other species of Syncopacma.
