Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes:
Recorded infrequently in docks and warehouses through accidental importation in produce from mainland Europe; initially taken near the London Docks, also recorded from Leicestershire (MBGBI Vol 4 part 1). Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 12-15mm. Superficially, quite unlike the other British species of Autostichidae. Larva feeds on dry vegetable matter.
