Notes:
Local on chalk and limestone downland throughout much of Britain, but not in northern Scotland. In Hampshire found on the chalk in a band from Broughton Down in the west, to Ashford Hangers in the east; on the Isle of Wight, known from very few sites, including Tennyson and Brading Down. Wingspan 7-9 mm. Larva mines leaves of Common Rock-rose, Hoary Rock-rose and White Rock-rose.
