1108 Lobesia abscisana (Doubleday, 1849) - (Tortricidae / Olethreutinae)

  

Notes: Common on waste ground and in flower meadows in southern England, north to Yorkshire and west to Devon. Relatively common in Hampshire, but less so than the superficially similar Celypha lacunana, and very infrequently recorded on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 12-14 mm. Larva feeds within stems of Creeping Thistle.
