1411 Leucinodes vagans Tutt, 1890 - (Crambidae / Pyraustinae)

 

Status: Vagrant/Accidental
Notes: Recorded infrequently through accidental importation from Africa. Described from a single specimen said to have been taken at Chepstow, Monmouthshire but not known from anywhere else in the world, and presumed to have originated from Africa where there are a number of similar, closely-related species. Wingspan 23-26 mm. No evidence of breeding in the UK.
