One was taken in Dymchurch, Kent in 2012 by J. Owen and exhibited at the BENHS Exhibition that year. It has been recorded from Egypt, across the middle east to Indo-China, and in central and southern Africa, with European records from Corsica and Malta. Although true migration cannot be ruled out, it has to be assumed that this individual was introduced with its larval foodplants, Acacia sp.
