Notes:
Common in farmland, rough meadows, roadside verges and woodland edges; 0-1200 m throughout much of southern Europe, less numerous in the north. Recorded once in Britain, in Dorset in 1938, considered to have arrived in an influx of other immigrants. Wingspan 24-26 mm. Larva feeds on Lucerne.
